YoungBiz — Offering a Smart Start to Enterprise, Business and Money
YoungBiz provides exciting, motivational and fun training events, designed to give young people more choices in life based around starting a business and personal money management.
Our programmes cover Entrepreneurship, starting a real Micro-Business and Financial Literacy, and are designed to coach students in developing new personal skills. These programmes run from 1.5 hours to 5 days in length and range from activity days for students to inset sessions for staff. New for this year are our Inset Days which combine Raising Enterprise Awareness with Teambuilding.

Tim Hall's main goal is to understand the school, the students, and the training objectives so that he can prepare the YoungBiz training staff to deliver the training programme that has been requested. As Tim puts it so well, "YoungBiz takes pride in ensuring every school is treated as a unique and individual customer."

Instead of finding often irrelevant work experience through a contact, now STUDENTS can choose from a database of companies to choose the right work placement for them.
EMPLOYERS can trial new employees before hiring, with 70% of work experience students subsequently hired by that same firm.
SCHOOLS can receive their free, personalised version of our website, at their own web address, to manage their work experience opportunities. THIS SERVICE IS ABSOLUTELY FREE FOR ALL.

The YoungBiz Ed. Café
is a private area on this website
that is full of helpful tools, resources and great ideas for teaching financial literacy and business skills to students of all ages. Teachers who become members will use the Ed. Café as a place to meet other teachers and get lesson plans, new activities, teaching tools and practical ideas for the classrom. Ed Café members will also have full access to all content in the Teen Club area. (Official opening date: January 2008.)

is a private, password-protected
area on the YoungBiz website where students can meet each other and learn more about money management, business and entrepreneurship. Whether or not students have ever attended a YoungBiz course or workshop, the online educational format of the Teen Club immediately engages their attention and provides vital tools and resources for developing enterprise capability and financial literacy.
