What YoungBiz is About!

YoungBiz is a national training company that specialises in financial literacy, enterprise capability and entrepreneurship education. To accomplish our mission, we develop and deliver courses and workshops for students, publish classroom curricula, and train teachers, lecturers and youth leaders.

• YoungBiz Youth Programmes include in-school and after-school classes, workshops, courses and custom programmes that offer participants exciting and engaging activities and curricula to develop personal finance, investing, entrepreneurial and business skills.
• YoungBiz Teacher Training Programmes prepare teachers and youth leaders to teach financial literacy, business, entrepreneurship and career skills in the classroom or in community settings using YoungBiz classroom curricula.
• YoungBiz Classroom Curricula in financial literacy and business satisfy all nine elements of Work Related Learning and are aligned to guidelines and objectives for Enterprise Education in the UK. The curricula are also mapped to Key Skills and Wider Key Skills for students aged 14-19 and support the aims of Every Child Matters.

Developing students' life-skills are part and parcel of our programme delivery. In addition to imparting practical skills in managing money and preparing young people for jobs, outcomes include raising students' self esteem, confidence, problem-solving ability, motivation and communication skills through challenging games and activities, teamwork and goal setting.
